Gimlet - Cocktail mixes by Trevor Hopkins

My take on yet another classic cocktail. Make sure you use the original Rose's Lime Cordial for the authentic taste.

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Add two measures of London Dry gin (I prefer Gordon's Gin) and three measure of the lime cordial.

Since the cordial is quite sweet, I prefer to add the juice of half a fresh lime as well. This tends to make the drink just a little sharper.

Shake well, then drain into a classic cocktail glass. Garnish with a wedge of lime.
